Rob Hill-Smith
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Rob Hill-Smith is a Chartered Accountant of Scotland.
Previously he worked in a French investment fund and before that was an auditor with EY.
Alex Hill-Smith
CHAIRMAN
After graduating MA/LLB from the University of Cambridge Alex Hill-Smith was called to the bar in 1978 and has worked as a barrister for over 30 years. He is primarily engaged in commercial and property litigation.
He was appointed a recorder in 2005.
Kit Schutzer-Weissmann
DIRECTOR
Kit Schutzer-Weissmann co-founded Perrin & Partners with Rob and worked full-time at the company between May 2021 - September 2022. He has extensive experience of commercial negotiation and client management, having worked for six years in Paris as a commodities broker before moving back to the UK.
WHAT WE DO
We buy companies with as little complexity, change, bureaucracy, and disruption in their day-to-day running, as possible.
HOW WE DO IT
Unlike most buyers we do not rely on external advisors that complicate and slow down the sales process. We like using short simple contracts, and we are yet to rely on any (external) legal advice. The only external help we need is to audit the accounts to check they're correct.
WHAT GUIDES US
We aim to be the owners that we would want - if our positions were reversed. We work on trust more than most and we like to keep things simple.
